: Call for Papers 2018

You are invited to submit a manuscript to Teachers and Curriculum for the 2018 General issue to be published in July, which will be edited by Kerry Earl, Carrie Swanson and Judith Mills. Teachers and Curriculum is a peer-reviewed online journal supported by Wilf Malcolm Institute of Educational Research (WMIER), Te Kura Toi Tangata Faculty of Education The University of Waikato. It is directed towards a professional audience and focuses on contemporary issues, stories from the field and research relating to curriculum, pedagogy and assessment.

 

Teachers and Curriculum aims to provide an avenue for the publication of papers that:

  • Report on research in the area of curriculum, pedagogy and/or assessment;
  • Provide examples of informed, innovative curriculum, pedagogy and/or assessment practices,
  • Raise important issues to do with the curriculum, pedagogy and/or assessment; and
  • Review books and other resources that have a curriculum, pedagogy and/or assessment focus. 


 

For the 2018 general issue the Editors welcome contributions that are:

  • Innovative practice papers with a maximum of 3,500 words, plus an abstract or professional summary of 150 words, and up to five keywords;
  • Research informed papers with a maximum of 3,500 words, plus an abstract or professional summary of 150 words, and up to five keywords;
  • Think pieces with a maximum of 1500 words or using alternative text formats (1- 4 pages); and
  • Book or resource reviews with a maximum of 1000 words.

 

Timeline

Paper submission due: 1 February 2018 (articles submitted via website tandc.ac.nz)

Review(s) complete/notification: Early April
 2018
